Data Mining Cup

„Data Mining Cup (DMC) 2014“- Prediction of return shipments in online shops

Participated with a student team from the Dept. of Production Engineering as well as Dept. of Physics and Electronic Engineering at the prestigious DMC .

  • Teaching „hands on“ of Data Science to newbies in this domain and apply the knowledge to real world data
  • My goal was to show, that the analysis of data is not only limited to computer scientist or mathematicians. It is mainly about understanding the problem and asking the right question.
