Welcome!

Hi, I am Daniel Weimer.

I am CTO of CertAI - a corporate startup powered by Munich Re. CertAI builds and certifies trustworthy AI technology and is leader in AI risk mitigation.

Before, I hold different tech leadership roles within Volkswagen AG and Volkswagen Group of America (Press), where my job was to ramp up world-class tech teams and develop and deploy AI systems along the whole automotive value chain.

Prior to that I was a researcher at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa in the field of AI. I'm originally affiliated to the University of Bremen, where I have been working as a Research Scientist and Ph.D. candidate in the Intelligent Production Systems research division.

My work is on large-scale machine learning systems and I have a passion for Quantum Computing applications. I am specifically interested in building trustworthy and reliable AI systems for good.
